Prayer For Life

Life

Father of all creation,

You have made each of us in Your likeness.

Help us to respect the dignity and worth

with which You have blessed each human being.

Help us to treat all people with respect and compassion

as Jesus did when he walked on the earth.

Give us the wisdom and the courage to defend and protect

the rights of all individuals.

Aid us in nurturing the gift of human life

from conception to natural death and all points in between.

Open our hearts and souls to the full teaching of the Catholic Church

and give us the courage to live them every day.

We ask this in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
