KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

Our parish is home to Council 15980 of the Knights of Columbus. They hold their monthly business meetings the first Tuesday of every month. Please visit their website for more information.

SACRED HEART LEAGUE

They pledge to sanctify themselves by extending the love of Jesus, symbolized by His Sacred Heart. The group attends the 6:00 PM Mass every First Friday of the month followed by a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament.

They also pledge to help the parish through various activities and especially the Office of Worship by decorating the church.

MADRES CRISTIANAS DE SANTA MONICA

They promise to pray for their children following the example set by Saint Monica. They are organized by groups of seven mothers whose goal is to pray for their children seven days a week. Each group is assigned a coordinated by one of the mothers whose purpose is to signal the date to each group member and to inform them of any activities. There is a general coordinator for all of the groups. All mothers who join the group are given the prayers and petitions that they are expected to pray accompanied by a booklet detailing the life of Saint Monica. On the 27th of August, the feast day of Saint Monica, the new members are given Saint Monica scapulars. A Mass is offered on the 27th of each month at 6:00 PM that all of the members are expected to attend.

GRUPO DE ORACIÓN

This group meets every Monday at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall. Their themes of formation, hymns, and prayers of praise are meant to help them grow closer to God and their activities are intended to meet many needs including spiritual, physical and economic needs.

SOLDADOS DE CRISTO

This is a Spanish Language men's group that seeks to grow in their Christian faith by means of prayer, focusing on the Holy Rosary, bible study and by studying various doctrinal themes. They meet every Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall.

PRAYER AND LIFE WORKSHOPS

This is a lay group who's goal is to provide a practical method to learn to pray in an orderly, varied and gradual manner, from the first steps to the depths of contemplation. The immediate goal of the group is to transform the lives of people to make them more spiritual and joyous. The workshop consists of 14, two hour sessions. They are lead by expert guides with material prepared by the Prayer and Life Workshop organization. Normally the workshops are offered twice a year by our parish, usually towards the end of February and in early August. For more information contact Father Ricardo.

SAINT VINCENT DEPAUL SOCIETY

This is a lay group that is dedicated to attending to the poor and needy. The organization is composed of active members, associates and contributors. They are led by an executive board. They meet once a month and attend to the needs of people regardless of race, sex, ethnicity, political party or religious beliefs. If you are interested please contact Mari Gutierrez.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

The members of this group educate and provide formation for children, youth and adults in the Catholic Faith, preparing them to receive the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation while also preparing and educating Christian leaders. BIBLE STUDY

SHARE THE WORD OF GOD IN SMALL GROUPS

During the Church's liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent the faithful gather to share the Word of God in their homes and in the Parish Hall.

BASE GROUPS COMUNIDADES DE BASE

Various groups of faithful that meet in their homes or in the Parish Hall to pray, read the Word of God with the goal of helping each other find a solution to the trials of everyday life.
